Sea Dogs Name Yates New Assistant Coach

The Saint John Sea Dogs announced on Monday that Ross Yates has been named the teams new assistant coach.
Yates, 53, is a former head coach of the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch, the Columbus Blue Jackets farm club. The native of Montreal, Que, spent 10 seasons with the Crunch organization with four of them seaons as head coach.
In his playing years, Yates hit the ice with Mount Allison University (CIAU), Binghamton Whalers and Rochester Americans (AHL), Hartford Whalers (NHL), Mannheim ERC (1.GBun) and Kloten (Swiss-A).
