The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced it's 2012-13 regular season schedule on Tuesday morning. The schedule sees all 18 QMJHL teams playing 68 games as in past season.

An important element of the QMJHL schedule remains the number of games played during the weekend. “No fewer than 82% of the games will be presented from Thursday to Sunday, which will free up our players to concentrate on their studies during the rest of the week,” said league Commissioner, Gilles Courteau in a press release on the league's official website.

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League schedule opens on Thursday, September 20th with the 2012 President's Cup champion Saint John Sea Dogs hosting the Bathurst Titan at Harbour Station.

The expansion Sherbrooke Phoenix will hold their home opener on Friday, September 21st, as they battle the Rimouski Oceanic.
