The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced on Monday it's TELUS Three stars of the week for the period of  January 16th to the 22nd.

Bathurst Titan right winger Zach O'Brien, Baie-Comeau Drakkar goaltender Philippe Cadorette and Victoriaville Tigre left winger Yanni Gourde have won the awards for the week.

First star of the week went to Bathurst Titan right winger Zach O'Brien. O'Brien finished the week off with five goals and two assists good for seven points along. The native of St. John's Newfoundland had his best game of the week on Friday night as he recorded four goals and added an assist in a 7-4 win over the Moncton Wildcats in Bathurst.

Second star of the week went to Baie-Comeau Drakkar goaltender Philippe Cadorette. Cadorette posted a recored of 2-0-0-0 in two games for the Drakkar during the week. The native of St-Hyacinthe, Quebec made 11 saves in a 6-1 win over the PEI Rocket on Friday night while on Sunday he recorded his first career shutout making 28 saves in a 2-0 win over the Rimouski Oceanic 

Third star of the week went to Victoriaville Tigre left winger Yanni Gourde. Gourde posted two goals and three assists during the period for the Tigres along with a +3 rating. The native of St-Narcisse, Quebec had his best game of the week on Friday as he posted a goal and three assists in a 5-4 win over Drummondville.
