Cape Breton Screaming Eagles defenseman Simon Desmarais is expected to miss four weeks of action after suffering an upper body injury.

It was not released when the 6-1, 190-pound blue-liner suffered the injury.

Desmarais, 17, played two games with the Screaming Eagles after being traded to Cape Breton on January 7th. The native of Chambly, Quebec has three assists on the season thus far however has yet to record a point with the Screaming Eagles.
