Even Strength has learned that the Drummondville Voltigeurs have released 20 year old defensemen Jean-Sébastien Fournier from their roster.

The Roster move comes after the Voltigeurs learned that 20 year old defensmen and captain Jean-Philippe Mathieu was ready to return to the clubs lineup.

Fournier was traded to Drummondville from Prince Edward Island on September 13th for a 6th round pick in 2012. In eight games with the Voltigeurs the native of Ste-Claire, Quebec recorded only one assist along with two penalty minutes and a -1 rating.
