Poudrier, Roski & Lalonde Suspended
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League on Tuesday announced that the following players have been suspended Shawinigan Cataractes center Loïk Poudrier, Moncton Wildcats left-winger Andrew Roski & Lewiston MAINEiacs left-winger Chirstophe Lalonde.
Poudrier was suspended for a total of two games (an automatic one-game suspension and an additional one game) for a hit from behind. This took place last Thursday when Shawinigan played Gatineau.
Roski was suspended for five games for a incident which took place last Thursday when the Wildcats played the MAINEiacs, also Lewiston MAINEiacs left winger Chirstophe Lalonde has been suspended for five games (an automatic one-game suspension and an additional four games) for a check from behind which happened when the Wildcats and MAINEiacs played.
The decisions were made after the League reviewed videotapes of the incidents. The QMJHL has no further comment
