Potential: Samborski showed this season that he has what it takes to be an impact player. He skates well, has a hard wrist shot and likes to play a physical brand of hockey. Moreover, the youngster logs a lot of ice time, contributing on special teams. On the flip side, two drawbacks from his game seem his poor decision making with the puck at times and taking bonehead penalties. If he sorts those two things out, Samborski has a very promising future.
