Stats: Through 40 games this season, Tafoya had 14 goals (three on the power play), 20 assists and 16 penalty minutes for the Thunderbirds.  

Career potential: Tafoya is arguably the most complete player on the Thunderbirds roster and many around him feel like he could be even better. He has a very accurate shot, makes smart decisions with the puck and gives his all. One scout told me that Tafoya has yet to reach his peak, not because of effort but because he hasn’t found “his niche” yet. Any way you slice it, Tafoya should be an impact player at the next level.
