Brad Hawkinson

Team: Colorado Thunderbirds Midget Minor AAA

Position: Forward

Birthdate: 1994

Overall Player Rating: B+

Skating ability: Above average

Shooting ability: Above average

Passing ability: Average

Weakness: Makes the “blind” pass from time to time.

Intangibles: All purpose forward with special team ability

Stats: In 38 games, Hawkinson had 13 goals (six on the power play), 13 assists and 16 penalty minutes for the Thunderbirds.

Career potential: Hawkinson plays a complete game, contributing on both ends of the ice. He’s a very graceful skater while also having an absolute cannon for a shot. While he’s far from a bad passer, it is something he needs to improve on. He will never been the kind of player to accumulate a bunch of penalty minutes, which means he plays with his head. Hawkinson has the attributes to be a productive Junior player, no question about it.
