Lucas Nickles

Team: Thompson Blazers Midget AAA

Position: Forward

Birthdate: 1994

Overall Player Rating: B

Skating ability: Average

Shooting ability: Average

Passing ability: Above average

Weakness: A bit undersized and under achieves

Intangibles: Front man with rock solid skill set.

Stats: In 40 games, Nickles had 12 goals, 15 assists and 38 penalty minutes for the Blazers.

Career potential: Nickles retains a very well rounded skill set. He can score but his true strength lies in his ability to pass. While his 5’10, 155 pound frame doesn’t fit the “norm”, Nickles plays like he is much bigger and contributes in all phases of the game. Many scouts see the true talent the kid has but feel he doesn’t always live up to it. With the right mind set, Nickles could be a very effective third or fourth liner at the pro level.
