Frolov To Have Season Ending Surgery

NEW YORK - New York Rangers forward Alex Frolov will undergo season-ending surgery, the club announced Sunday.
Frolov suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during Saturday's 2-1 win at St. Louis.
The Russian, who signed with New York as a free agent in the off-season after spending his first seven seasons with the L.A. Kings, has seven goals and nine assists for 16 points in 43 games.
His best season was 2006-07 when he registered 35 goals and 36 assists.
