Swine Flu Starting To Hurt NHL (0)
Well we are coming up to the end of October and the NHL is getting hit with a few cases of the swine flu (H1N1). On Tuesday the Colorado Avalanche announced that goalie Peter Budaj has the H1N1 virus while the Edmonton Oilers also announced that defenseman Ladislav Smid has the virus as well. Budaj was [...]

EDMONTON – The final roster of the Edmonton Oilers is a little clearer after five players were cut following Sunday’s 5-4 overtime win over the Vancouver Canucks.
Forwards Rob Schremp and Kip Brennan, defenceman Taylor Chorney and goaltender Devan Dubnyk were all assigned to the Oilers’ AHL affiliate in Springfield while centre Jordan Eberle was returned [...]
Oilers Sign Comrie (0)
Who says you can’t go home again?
Edmonton native Mike Comrie has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Oilers worth $1.125 million.
Comrie, originally drafted by Edmonton in the third round (91st overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, rejoins the Oilers after having played there from 2000-2003.
“I had to make a decision on some [...]
Heatley; Other Rumors (0)
