Foxsports.com is reporting that defensemen Alex Goligoski will miss the next two to three weeks because of a lower body injury. Goligoski was hurt in the Pens over time victory over the Boston Bruins Saturday night. The injury comes when blue liners Sergei Gonchar (wrist), Kris Letang (shoulder) and Brooks Orpik (undisclosed injury) are already on the shelf , leaving two healthy everyday defensemen on the active roster.

Goligoski has six goals and eight assists this season for the Pens.

Along with the boat load of injuries on the blue line, the Pens are also without forwards Max Talbot (shoulder), Tyler Kennedy (groin) and Chris Kunitz (undisclosed injury).
