Not many players live up to hype, but “The Kid” has done that and more.  Crosby is as much of a natural born player as there has ever been, and he delivers night in and night out.  Crosby is perhpaps the best passer in the league, using using his vision and anticipation to find his line mates. Crosby generates numerous scoring chances every game with his playmaking alone.  His release is also excellent, often scoring goals without the slightest telegraph. Crosby is also quite acrobatic on the ice, jumping spinning and dodging away from the opposition, with the puck on his stick all the while. Crosby is a once in a generation player and the ideal ambassador for the game.
